I had reorganized this portion of code but I did not see this error

I could solve my issue with the workaround:
\displayLilyMusic { \viola }
and later copy paste the viola part from the logfile into my score again.

OK, my arrangement is finished, now I want to export it to make a nice, clean

But no luck yet.

Yes, I was able to alter one of those to fit my needs exactly. Thank you!

It sounds like you could pick or adapt one of those:

I'm looking for a way to include some free standing notes in a line of text.
Specifically, I want a pair of beamed 16th, a '=' sign, and then three beamed
16th notes, indicating that two 16ths equal three 16ths. I'd also like to use
it in a \tempo marking. I searched nabble but did not find

Hi, I have a few questions to the following, wich I cannot find in the
manual.
1. Why is my single 8. notes so big, and how do I change it to the size
similar to the other notes?
2. How do I change the size of the text under the grace notes, so they are
smaller than the other text.
Hope that

I'm not clear on the problem here. I don't see any outsize notes. Are
you referring to the ones with flags rather than with beams?
2. How do I change the size of the text under the grace notes,
Yes Im talking about the 8 notes with flags... They are very high... and
that makes the Horisontal Volta lines to be very far away from the staff...
Want the 8. notes to be only just as high as the quarter notes... Is this
possible?
Thanx for your help

Actually I could manage, If I could just control the space between the staff
and the Volta... but cant seem to figure it out?
Something like...
\override Volta . padding = #0.5 ???
Could anyone give me a hand...?

lilypond-book is pretty good at mixing lilypond music with tex (or
Latex) text. However, it forces one to learn how to use (in my case)
Latex, and it operates within the constraints of Latex.
Latex requires some getting used to, though. It certainly is not your
ordinary WYSIWYG word processor:
The Cantata I'm working on has narration interspersed in the music,
something like 'system1, narration1, system2-7, narration2, system8-15'
, etc.
Can Lilybook handle this, or do I need to break up the music manually?
If yes, pointers to examples will be extremely appreciated. (Otherwise
