Yes, and the HDR UHD stream that exceeds NBN target bandwidth is AVC 
compressed. Further compression would reduce the quality below 
acceptable limits, as you say.


Tom seems to imply that I refer to uncompressed (though presumably not 
raw) video in the stream.
