I'm trying to install CentOS 4.2 on Hercules. (About time, eh?) I got the
DVD image downloaded, mounted, and IPLed, but when I try to tell the
installer about the network, it either doesn't find the interface (if I use
CTC) or panics (while loading the LCS module). Is this a known problem?

I suppose leaving the definition embedded in Linux someplace is not a bad
thing - as some day I'm probably gonna want to use that golden master to
propagate updates with a copy/overlay rather than a copy to clean FS.
