Ah, one more thimg I forgot to mention:
when I try to close aeolus windows (Instrument/Audio etc.) the window stays
open but the
contents disapears (windows stays white).

Just ashort feedback:
on my Debian (Testing) I needed to add '-I/usr/include/freetype2' to the
Makefile of both
clxclient and aeolus.
