Hello All I think it's a real 'hutzpa' that SuSE started selling version 7.0 already, but still doesn't let people download. 99% of the programs there were made by volunteers (GPL and all this), and they cost money for it, and don't let people get it. Cya, Oren.

Actually, if you read the GPL, you will find it is perfectly legal for them to sell this product and not offer anyone the option to download for free. All the GPL requires them to do is to make the sources available to anyone who has legally obtained the binaries from them. Assuming that all the

Hello Shlomo! I don't know about XFS much more than you do, I just know that : 1. It's faster than ext2 2. The recovery after power failours and such things (Like what fsck does at startup), is much faster and more efficiency. It will have a kernel support in 2.4.x as I understood. Cya, Oren.

Hi. Can anybody recommend a good way to really check my server load? I'm currently checking the load using uptime (and check the average load values), but this hardly seems a good way to really know whether the server is 'sweating'. Can anybody recommend any better way? - Aviram
