Shouldn't VPS give you isolated environment with grantee resources?
There are a lot of VPS solotion: Virtuozzo, Xen , openvz etc. None
off them give you performance isolation?
I have good experience (or luck?) using Virtuozzo or some US hosting

Hi everyone,
Sorry for being Offtopic, but I think the subject is interesting for
many here.
I used to rent a server hosted at Actcom, but as many here probably
know, things are changing, and I won't be able to continue hosting this
server, and I am looking at other options.

Didi,
I've been using VPS before, and I got burned. twice. You never know
who is your neighbour in the next VPS, and you really don't know

take a server at the states i might like to be a client.
Guy,
P.s
I am looking for a GURU PHP,MySQL programmer.

Can you recommend a good Israeli hosting company with such prices?

That's not accurate - both sweethome.co.il and spd.co.il have php/
mysql support and I think even shell access in their basic accounts.
I was very impressed by the service of spd a while ago when I got a 5
minute recovery of a database a client accidently erased.
