i installed mandrake 7 and everything is fine.only i can not access my cdrom.in the control panel it says: hp cd writer 8200 (which is ok)dev/hdc.when i write mount : mnt/cdrom supermount fs=iso9660, dev=/dev/cdrom i got also /dev/crdom (which is a shortcut).i am all confused how to change

I had the same blem with my YAMAHA CDRW 8x4x24x I solved it in very easy way.. just add a scsi cdrom support as module to the kernel.. and viala.. it will work the problem becuse all IDE cdr are emulating scsi throo ATAPI/IDE avi lederman wrote: i installed mandrake 7 and everything is fine.
