written/read to/from identified files ?
cause I use LVM an iostat just give me statistics for the ide disk and

I would like to have a cron job to record a TV program using my saa7134
card. I have mencoder and ffmpeg installed (and may install other software
as needed). I do not require high quality, but the recording must be
