1) regarding liability: arrange with some company to sell HDs _on localation_ and give them the option of installing on existing HD (potentially dangerous etc.) or buy a second, cheap HD (safer). 2) regarding apps attractive to lawyers: gnucash (though I have problems with it on RH 8.0 ).
