But I believe it was the USB filesystem module, which I never reenabled, because
I don't expect to ever use it.

Is there a way to get threaded applications to dump core properly on
2.4.0? There is a patch floating around for 2.2.x, but the patch is not
applicable to the 2.4. code.
Any help is appreciated

Using 2.4.4-ac3 (as well as in 2.4.3*) I have found it impossible to
unmap a loopback
strace losetup -d /dev/loop0 (relevant portion)
open(/dev/loop0, O_RDONLY)= 3
ioctl(3, LOOP_CLR_FD, 0)= -1 EBUSY (Device or resource busy)
I've had to keep an old 1.14b version of the driver around in order to build
a functional kernel for a while now.
If I use the newer version (1.14g-ac2), then the kernel can't find my root
filesystem on boot.
Is this a problem other people have seen? I believe I have the very latest
firmware
uot;alpha" (1.0) version numbers despite
being stable, reliable and widely-used.
