[SLL] vacation isn't working in rhel5

The vacation autoresponder suite came with rhel3 and 4, but it's omitted from 5. My el5 box uses sendmail-8.13.8-8.el5, which is what yum gives you, and I don't want to switch to another mailhandler. I grabbed the binary for vacation 1.2.7 from an rhel4 box and it runs with no apparent error on

stat is a system call to get properties of a file (man 2 stat). I'd guess that the stat failing means that either sendmail doesn't have sufficient permissions on the vacation binary, or it isn't given the full path to the binary and it isn't on whatever default path is setup in sendmail and thus
