Thanks for taking the time to put this information together. Yes, PE T430
servers support chips up to 105W/socket. The specific chip I am looking at
(2658-v4) isn't listed.
I once tried 145W cpus in my T430. They worked fine one after the other but
with both chips, the server wouldn't
Speaking of mass execution on thousands of hosts, I've used Perl 'netrun' to a
great extent in the recent past. Note that ansible core does great things in
this fashion as well but may be a little slower than pdsh or netrun.
