frame. Then I drag clip to the timeline and any attempt to move

Select the clip, right click, Option preview file.

is just more to know if you have the same dependencies on BSD system : could
you tell us if you have all this dependencies :

Hi Thomas! This case has been solved. Mythbuntu updates disabled access
to MySQL database. I enabled again from Mythbuntu Control Center and now
it works again.
So bug is in update script, it does not read from previous setup of
MySQL in Mythbuntu Control Center. This is only minor bug though.

locale ( LANG=ru_RU.KOI8-R ). With this locale the preview

I can confirm this. To make things worse it saves files to my desktop by
default. I opened the .osp files with Gedit and replaced all occurrences
of /home/user/Desktop with my desired new location and moved all folders
and the respective .osp file there.

1) ffplay works, seek works.
2) melt works, frame incrementing/decrementing works.
