Hi, after reading the list I tried scanner+uhci+2.4.18-pre9. Unfortunately it is still very slow. System: Via KT133A, Epson 1650 Scanning a 3x5in picture at 600dpi colour Using 2.4.17 + usb-uhci about 45s Using 2.4.17 and 2.4.18-pre9 + uhci about 4min Anyway to help you debug the problem? _
