Are you sure sd_mod is loaded? Have you tried mounting /dev/sda1 (or
whatever partition)? What is in your log files?

It works great! :)
If it doesn't work so great for you, please feel free to file a bug
report at bugzilla.kernel.org, otherwise the develo
I've got a FlashLink ALLinOne USB Reader from SimpleTech.
I've gotten the device to sort-of attach to my linux box. I'm running
linux 2.4.22. I use the usb port to sync my palm, so i know the usb stuff
works.

Exactly. Neither can I I. Once Norton Disk Editor saw the
thing but Adaptec Drive Prepare (Win98se) and Norton went
nuts. Maybe i did an "extended partition" and NO primary.
This may have been wrong. The low level recover utility
from www.supertalentflash.com does NOT see the disk at
all. Gpar

This doesn't look like a 2.4.22 kernel -- it's issuing an INQUIRY for 255
bytes. We changed that a while ago.

Then there are about a dozen posts of mine that you haven't seen... :)
Well, they weren't really comments about the code, just about 2.6.0.

Hello,
usb devices have gone ...everything seems ok, but they are not detected any

Sane can't find the scanner (scanjet 4100c) and gnomemeeting can't find the
camera (philips vesta 675k): both works in another Deb_sid box (with the same

I guess it depends on the model.
If you have an APC UPS, check the APCUPSD list.
In my case, my XS1000/BX1000 seems to work fine as do the equivalent
product with a 1500 i
Hi,
Does anyone know if UPS's are supported yet?
In June last year support was still very experimental.

Quite right, sorry.

I'm trying to use a DYMO LabelWriter 310 on Linux 2.4.22. When I plug
it in I get:

I think it is very strange that the above command produces that error
(/dev/sda -> /dev/sda1).

Hi
Just a bit of a guess, but maybe you are being too
quick for it.
After plugging in, try just waiting for a few seconds
before doing the mount.
I notice similar behaviour with a USB C-Flash card
reader. After plugging in, I have to pause for a
moment before it will mount.
Hope this helps.

Hi. First of all, thanks for all the work you guys have done on this.
connect(0.35): Resource temporarily unavailable
This one means that the firmware has not been uploaded yet. You may need to
wait longer between launching modem_run (or speedmgmt) and trying to
establish a connection (incr
Hi,
Is it normal to mount twice a USB memory stick in order to get a
successful mount ? It goes like this :
Unplug the USB stick
Plug it again
mount -t ext2 /dev/sda /mnt/usb
mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/sda1,
or too many mounted file systems

a Towitoko (SMC) Chipdrive (SCR335) for the usb port. I am using
it for a HBCI card for electr. banking with gnucash (with libchipcard).
