I got the USB working wothout problems after compiling a 2.6.7 kernel. I notice that the last kernel message I get from the USB subsystem after boot (but before something is connected) is: uhci_hcd :00:1d.3: suspend_hc Does that mean the hardware goes into a suspended mode?
