After looking into this a little further, the main page seems to load (but
a little slow). The pages that have activities (Games, Fashion Fun, etc)
don't load any of the detail. They show that something should be there but
it can't read it. The links are .asp's. I tried using netscape in linux

text stream (seems like a MIME issue).

Did you install the Shockwave Flash plugin for Linux?

http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/flash/english/linux/5.0r47/flash_linux.tar.gz

Almost sounds like it downloaded the shockwave data, but then couldn't find a
'viewer' for that MIME type. File/MIME association for this MIME type may be
missing or bad.

--
2. Save the Installer to your desktop and wait for the file to
downloadcompletely.

3. Unpackage the file.

4. Copy the Macromedia Flash Player (libflashplayer.so) into the Netscape
plug-in directory.
 cp $HOME/flash_linux/libflashplayer.so /usr/lib/netscape/plugins

5. Copy the Macromedia Flash Player Java class file (ShockwaveFlash.class)
into the Netscape plug-in directory. cp
$HOME/flash_linux/ShockwaveFlash.class /usr/lib/netscape/plugins

6. Launch Netscape.

Mine was installed by default... So it's got to be in an RPM (not that I
could tell you which one off the top of my head).

Don't know about Kong, but barbi.com isn't a windows-only site. I just
checked by going there using nutscrape under Solaris 7 on an UltraSparc 30
here. Hadn't realised it was there, though I should have. This will make my

Hi, Rick:

I just navigated to the Barbie web site - www.barbie.com - and it plays
like a Wurlitzer (including sound) for me. I am using Konqueror as my
browser, and SuSE 7.2 Pro on a P3 - 450 Mhz machine w/ 256M of RAM.
The KDE version is 2.1.2

HTH

Regards,

Glenn

Hah! At my end, Netscape crashes and Konq works on KDE 2.2 ! But it
says that
You need to download Flash and/or Shockwave to play with this

Needless to say, it doesn't give you a Linux selection button to press,
just a PC, AOL or a Mac.
But everything else seems to work, especially the pages where you buy
