on it and somewhat working. Found I have a DCOP proplem for kde2.
Many apps from kde complain about DCOP IPC or some such before they run. Some
do not run like ntrol. all apps have no title bar, even in xfce.

I had glib 1.2.10 at /usr/local/lib now gone, uninstalled
I have glib .2.2 at /usr/local/lib now uninstalled
updated /usr/local/bin/glib-config to usr/local and set switch to 2.0

and when I tried to recompile, it worked as it should. Something

I had performed the ldconfig, and ensured that /etc/ld.so.conf had
the path. Now that does not mean something wierd happen on machine or
me, Ido have those all timer moments more and more g. All seems well
now.

I got a cd copy of SleepyCat software. If memory serves me correctly,
it is a Berkley database system. I got it through a Linux rag I beleive.
URL http://www.sleepycat.com. Hope this is of some help. I have not used
it or even loaded it on to a system yet.

There was a time when I was a died in wool MS sludge weenie, the 4
years ago I started getting real tired of the crap from them. # years
ago, I install Caldera 2.4, I was converted, and I have not looked back,
except in disgust.

Tried to install gnucash last night, guile went in ok, gwrap failed
on make. Also from what I read, you need most generally have gnome on

I beleive that it is in Win2k, or the ability to perform the task. I have a
win2k box that has read nfs from both solaris the old caldera linux look at
the property box on the selected drive in winders.
