Look into using a dynamic routing protocol like OSPF to have each network
learn the routes to the other networks. Then set the path cost through
branch A to be the lowest cost route.

The WAN port is seeing duplicate icmp echo requests, and it happens
bi-directionally:

64 bytes from 4.2.2.2: icmp_seq=0 ttl=58
Dyn.com's free service has been working well for me for years.
