Our next meeting is on Wednesday October 4th. We do not have anything
planned up to now so it will be more of a social meeting along the usual
lines of Linux chat becoming increasingly off-topic. That is, unless

Bad news Dan, hope you feel better soon. Still, it gives us something to do

As previously mentioned, there will be no real meeting this month, due to
social distancing (or, as geeks call it, normal life) but we will try a
virtual meeting using Jitsi. If you are using a desktop/laptop computer,
you don't need any special software, just point your browser at
>A virtual meeting could be interesting if people are up for it. Don't mind
what we use. Jitsi did work for me last time I tried it but I would need to
install and set up on a new laptop. Do others have strong feelings on this?
You don't need to install anything, Jitsi uses WebRTC in a browser.
Hi all,
Naturally there will not be a meeting next Wednesday, but does anyone have
any opinions on a virtual meeting? Some LUGs are looking at "getting
together" using Jitsi or similar. Any thoughts?

Our next meeting will be on Wednesday October 5th.
There will be a talk from Neil Bothwick on creating a system rescue USB
stick that is able to boot from a choice of Live CD ISO images stored on
the stick.
We will meet at DoES Liverpool http://doesliverpool.com/ at around 7pm

Just for once, we did have a talk sort of arranged for the next meeting,
but it now won't happen until next month. However, I've been messing

creating a sort of super-rescue stick, and would be happy to give a talk
on that.

have a LivLIG outing to Ignite (http://igniteliverpool.com/).

month. In addition, they have lots of talks planned, which is exactly
lots more than us
