I've recently purchased a laptop which has a small but high resolution
screen.
Doing some testing I've noticed that LMMS does not scale well in Windows
with the default large fonts. Note that QT linguist scales fine.
Here's a screenshot:

Agree with Tres and Uros. It will take up too much space, and the new FX
mixer is already higher than the one in 1.0.0?

sf is doing it not like this, putting a hoster logo in bottom of page is
not equal to sourceforge.net in name and download page with other ads.
but that's ok if it is a nono. then such proposals shouldn't be given.

IIRC such renaming was done earlier... and compatibility was retained by

Good catch! Looks like a bug which dates back to 2006
(a63c20f8e50413dde). We could easily rename it but this would break
some user's project files. Any idea?

At some point, the word "bassloops" got misspelt as "bassloopes". So
now the samples directory tree, from my completely fresh pull just
now, has the misspelt name "bassloopes" in it. git grep doesn't show
it (it's filepath build/data/samples/bassloopes), so I'm not sure when
this happened ...

This is probably not a good topic for hosting (we have several of those

We already ha
I think that it could be potencialy useful, but having a solo button on the
mixer channel will be even more useful. A pan knob could just take up
space.

Note: remember to do "git checkout master", as a checkout defaults to
stable-1.0 branch!
maybe we can use this topic to decide on hosting.
Gandi can also provide hosting prob. and really i believe that some
hosters can give hosting in exchange for ads, if it is accepted at
least, because i think that next-step of development and community

I am still waiting on gandi to get back to me regarding support for lmms as

If the slider was dual-function, similar to the way the piano roll

loss of screen space.

Would this be a welcome addition?
I think it would be a pretty simple thing to implement, but I'm not
certain if we want such a thing. Usually, panning is handled with effect
plugins like autopanners etc. and there's not much need for mixer
channels that are off-center in most types of music... bu
I just got a response and guess what: They answered to the dreamhost email.
Unfortunately, they are indeed using the domain, it's just blocking ICMP
ports (that's why it doesn't ping back). I'm still in contact trying to see
if it's possible for them to switch to a new domain.
