Its not worth risking it. We won't use sounds from commercial software at
all unless the commercial software donates them to the project with the
proper license.

Hmm. Some of those samples I send were from FL Studio, a drumkit called
'Grv'.
I wonder if I just send those... are they intellectual property of
image-line?

@Ian Sannar Thanks for your effort. I bet we'll get some claps and snares of
the same quality.
The new sample pack we are making only includes samples that you can use
commercially and personally, so we have to be really thorough about each and
every one. :)

I think that's a great idea. Maybe each major update could have different
demo songs, each the latest winners. That way it could rotate a bit.

A major flaw could be that it crashed for seemingly no good reason at random
times... Anyone else experienced this on Win7 32 bit? So an RC compiled the
way it will be, would be great.

Good work dude!
You could add your songs, yes, but we all want to weed out (remove) quite a
few of the songs, so when 1.1 is out, the homepage is finished, and the
sample pack too, I suggest deciding on removing X showcase songs and then
vote on new to replace them. It would be interesting to mak
Definetely crop the bar out, IMO. I have intentionally tried to leave out any
OS specific stuff in the images on FB. In worst case Windows and Mac users
can think the bar is a part of LMMS.

@Jonathan That's a great idea. Otherwise an EDM producer is going to end up
downloading acoustic guitar samples or something.

drums others can be grouped as synths etc.

I can make another small pack, if you like. I think that at least a few of
my samples here should be included in the factory drum samples, I use them
all the time and so does everybody who has similar sounds. xD
