Re: [Local-chapters] New OSM Local Chapters

2013-01-14 Thread Daniel Kastl
Hi Simon,

As far as I remember the discussion ended as OSMF didn't reach a consensus
on how local chapters should be handled.
Maybe "consensus" isn't the right term, there were probably other more
important issues to solve first ;-)

Re: [Local-chapters] New OSM Local Chapters

2013-01-14 Thread Simon Poole

Welcome Douglas.

The list is currently dormant. I was intending to revive discussion
soon, we (the OSMF board) just need a bit more clarity on a few issues
(mainly what we are going to do wrt the OSMF AoAs and a couple of other
pending matters).

I would welcome any discussion and input on the matter of local chapters
and how we should, moving forward, shape the relationship between the
OSMF and local organisations.

[Local-chapters] New OSM Local Chapters

2013-01-14 Thread Douglas Ssebaggala

Hi all...

I have just subscribed to the list, and also checked the list's
archives which show the last communication being around April 2011.

I would like to know whether this mailing list is still active and if
local chapters can still be/ are being created, can this e-mail
address still be used to get in touch? lo...@osmfoundation.org

Thanks
