This is what I have in /etc/lpd.perms:
---
# reject connections from hosts not on my subnet
REJECT SERVICE=X NOT
REMOTEIP=192.168.1.0/255.255.255.224,127.0.0.1/255.255.255.224
# do not allow forwarded jobs or requests
REJECT SERVICE=R,C,M FORWARD
# allow root on server to
I have printing to work by modifying the /etc/hosts file a bit. LPRng
seems to save some print jobs, how do I make LPRng remove all jobs after
printing?
Printer: hp2250@tiger (dest hp2250@server)
Queue: no printable jobs in queue
Server: no server active
Status: job 'louisg00@tiger+314'
Hi,
My personal experience about the modifications I sent to get counting pages
in the HP4100 is that I am using it for 7 months with 8 HP4100 printers and
several thousands of jobs and I have no problems with them.
I use the patched version of ifhp with the HP4100 and some others, but I
done_jobs=0 in $PREFIX/etc/lpd.conf to make it global, or in the printcap
entry to make the change for the particular spool.
