We have setup LTSP-4.1 and running well,
we would like to know from your experience,
does the ActiveCard (Smartcard) Supported under
Linux, anybody using it under LTSP, if so do I
need local storage (Hard disk) to store driver
for the smart card, or I can have it in the
server

Recently I was doing a small benchmarking test to find out which HW is
best suitable as thin clients for our company.
I was mainly focused on 2D performance as 3D is unfortunately out of
question (no remote DRI).
Here are the results:

Can you send the contents of your dhcpd.conf file?
It's possible that it's being directed to the wrong file. I had the
same issue once and I just changed the file I was pointing at to fix
it. Are you sure you're pointing at the right pxelinux file? I'm

It worked after having made those changes. The sample dhcpd.conf file generated by lpcfg has mislead me into putting the kernel file directly instead of going one directory down to choose the pxelinux.0 file.

a good idea of how long it will take and it ran about a half hour before

I'm not an LTSP expert but, if you have the drivers,
you can re-compile the kernel that the terminals use
with your driver included. I bet someone on this list
has made a custom kernel for their terms.
