Is it possible to use a Debian (Etch, i386) server to build an Ubuntu
LTSP root tree.
I'm using the backported package for Etch, LTSP5.

I dropped the ubuntu /opt/ltsp into CentOS and have it working
perfectly.

I have set up a new Edubuntu 7.10 server and have local devices working
okay with the fix provided by Andreas Rudin. Thank you very much, Mr.

if thats not a typo then tis is your problem, the option is called
LDM_DIRECTX.

Whoops, I knew I'd forget something. I also needed to create an lts.conf file
and put it in /opt/ltsp-4.2/i386/etc
Here's the minimum that needs to be included in that file:

SERVER = 192.168.2.251
