I am a user of LTSP 4.2 and yesterday tried to access this page
http://wiki.ltsp.org/twiki/bin/view/Ltsp/SwapNbd#Configuring_ltspswapd and
others on the same site related to LTSP 4.2 but it seems to be offline.
¿Does anyone knows where is that valuable information about LTSP 4.2?
Just in case this helps
I had Mandriva 2007 and ltsp 4.2 but do not remmenber the Firefox version. I
replaced (just the software) with Mandiva 2009 and LTSP 4.2 which comes with
Firefox 3.08 and the only thing people complained was a Slow Right Click on
Firefox too compared to mandriva 2007
I has been in this list for a few years and each time i post i have the
same problem. So i avoid to post here even if i have information about my
experiences on LTSP that could help others.
Could someone teld me why this happends?

On this address http://expert.mandriva.com/question/33040 is mentioned that
Mandriva has
drakgw that help the setting of Internet Sharing.
I ran this command and the internet sharing with windowsxp problem was solved
but the dhcpd.conf for LTSP was
replaced with a generic one. The result was
${USER_PREFIX}$(echo $CLIENT1 | sed -e 's/^[a-zA-Z]*//')
Note the missing 0 -^
You did not specify what the usernames will be like on your system, so I
went by your first example.

I am in the process of installing LTSP4.2 on Mandriva 2009. There has been
problem because i has not found specific instructions for Mandriva 2009 but
Instructions for Mandriva 2006 and 2007 work 95% of the time.
What i have to solve now is autologin on some terminals.
I have tried instructions

Then the country flag displayed correctly (on the terminals) and i was able to
change from US keyboard to ES just by clicking on the flag. BUT, this produced
the unwanted behavior i had described.
Thanks for the help.

I am trying to install LTST 4.2 on Mandriva 2009 becuase i have new hardware
that is not supported by Mandriva 2007.1.
I has been able to connect a thin client thru
SCREEN_01 = startx
but can not have the login prompt for a character session
SCREEN_02 = telnet
because access is
to other servers via modem so the
client is not the problem.
I have been trying to solve this problem for more than 10 days and would
really appreciate HELP.
If i am in the wrong newsgroup, please indicate where i could post this
