for Searching for server (DHCP)

Normally, the first start-up om the morning, wait about 5-6 sec. ,
in the reeboot wait up to 50-60 sec. and after starting.

Hello ltsp-discuss,
is it possible to set up the client to use its local harddisk instead
of swapping over nfs? I installed latest 2.09 on SuSE7.2 but found no
options for setting up swap except to the nfs-stuff.

This probably isn't an LTS problem, but on the outside chance it is, or that

I am having a problem with an LTS server crashing down in Miami (I'm in
Atlanta). I'm in the process of building a new system with LTS 2.09
(waiting for the release, actually),

Hi,
for some days I'm struggling with local device support (e.g floppy, cd-rom,

(http://www.solucorp.qc.ca/virtualfs) to configure and use these local devices
in conjunction with LTSP (v.2.09pre4). The ltspsound package

Hi Matthias
I am using -pre4 with a windows-dns/dhcp-server and everythings works fine,
except that nothing happens at dhclient-startup.
So the workstation knows nothing about its own hostname. :-(
Additionally I get Resolver Error 0 (no error) whenever I want to do some
name-resolving.
I _ could _ be wrong here, but me thinks that the Airport base station is
just a re-labeled Lucent RG 1000. (about $170) I know that it is lucent
something. could be an AP500 or AP1000 but RG is what I am thinking.
Let me try to find one of these Airports on the net and see if I can't
I must have done something wrong with my initrd.gz. I noticed that my terminal did

kernel with the lpp initrd.gz and it worked with pxegrub with no kernel errors.
