Thanks a lot! I didn't implement the disconnect script, but knowing to
plug out the SD disk before closing the lid made my day! I think vanill
I'm using Lubuntu on an Acer Aspire netbook 110 and am generally happy.
One thing, though: In the power settings (reached by clicking the battery
icon) I've asked the computer to suspend if the lid is closed when on AC
power, and to hibernate if on battery.

Thanks! Chromium and Java works just fine with Sun's Java. It would be
much nicer if it would work with icedtea and openjdk, of course. Hope the

RAM, and it's generally a pleasure.
I have one problem, though - the Java plugin seems not to be working in
Chromium. I want to play Runescape, the MMORPG at www.runescape.com.
