I would like to remove a few programs that are installed by default
when installing from the lubuntu live-cd.
However when I e.g. remove abiword in synaptics, it automatically
selects lubuntu-desktop for removal.
Will it really delete the whole lubuntu-desktop packages?

If it is of any help for an entry in the wiki, this is the slightly
extended Dropbox.desktop file that I use in both .config/autostart and
.local/share. The latter will make it appear in the menu (should you need to

On a newly installed lubuntu 10.10
I wanted to sync chromium with google, this was not possible, the process
run after google auth just stops.
I did some updates after that, installed ubuntu tweak and added the ppa to
chromium stable.
It seems chromium did a little better, but it still is
