Great job. It could be included by default in the next release.

Thank you, looks very nice :)
Unfortunately, it's currently not easy to customize default settings of
Chromium on Ubuntu / Lubuntu. Shipping specific settings is quite
impossible, so we are blocked also for the artwork theme :(
However, you should add a link to the Artwork page to add this
modification, as it's quite easy to do it by your own, even for beginner.

Aloha Rafael,

I've talked to charlie-tca and the current theme is already pretty
accessible, only side note was the contrast in the lettering in the window
border (window title). But other than that it's already good.

More updated things. Sorry, GTK3 is still in development (well, GTK2 too),
so there's no download available. I need to tell you that making the GTK2 to
GTK3 upgrade is a hell. A strange fight between GTK2 and GTK3 breaks the
system making ugly pink fluorescent frames around controls everywhere.
 Things to do (among others):

- finish GTK2 theme
- finish GTK3 theme
- complete wallpapers pack (8 resolutions)
- retouching icons (maybe some new)
- retouching panel and button
- making a matching Chromium theme (I need help with this)
- making an accessibility theme (I absolutely haven't any time to do
this this, maybe you, Chris Druif?)
- bits and pieces almost invisible (theme performance, sharp edges and
colour optimization)
- drink some beer [image: :D]

For the round corners of the logout box, what if i change the gtk theme?? It
will stick with that color and won't match with my color scheme :S
I think that those corners should be as always just for those who like to
change colors from time to time... :)

I'm afraid yes :D ...for the moment. Maybe you're right and those
packages are outdated. I'm testing on Lubuntu Maverick and Natty, both
on new AMD machines (sorry, I have no dinosaurs right now, they're fully
extinct), and all themes are working as expected.

A rather odd problem occurs with this version. I have the Directory Menu

Hello all.
I've found my test machine, which is pretty old, 1Gb RAM; Nvidia FX5200 GPU;
Gigabyte GA-K8NSC-939 motherboard loads update manager significantly slower
with the Ozone widgets turned on.I've not checked anything else as that was
enough for me to turn the Ozone widgets off.

Subject: [Lubuntu-desktop] Ozone theme available for testing

 Hi,

I packaged the Ozone theme of Raphael in a testing lubutu-artwork
package. It's available for natty only, on Lubuntu PPA [1].

It's not available by default, you need to enable it in various places :
 - The panel : right click on it, and click on Panel settings, and
 change the background to ozone_panel.png.
 - The menu : right click on it, and click on Menu Settings, and change
 to ozone_menu.png.
 - The gtk theme : launch lxappearence, and select Ozone for Widget and
 Window Border
 - The background : right click on the desktop, and select the
preferences. Change the background and choose a ozone_wall_*.png which
 match your resolution.

I'm very interesting to know if the system is slower with this theme.

 Thanks in advance.

 Regards,
 Julien Lavergne

Re: [Lubuntu-desktop] Ozone theme available for testing

2011-02-16 Thread (Rafael Laguna)
I've tested it on an old Pentium with 1 gb RAM too. Now here goes the
weird thing: usual windows run fine, but superuser apps are slow. Why?
It happens (to me) too in Ubuntu (AMD-K7) with Radiance theme.

Anyway, the Nautilus dependencies and definitions have been erased
completely. I hope there will not be errors at all at boot time, and
this may speed a bit the theme (because of not printing errors to
console in background) or trying to find those missing pixmaps and / or
values).

You can test it at the usual place.

Bye!
