I believe on the Boss your reverb options are somewhat limited. The
Boss is designed for pop style mixing and track bouncing. You can use
it for classical but it isn't designed for that.
You will be better off in the long run to get the Zoom H2--at about $150,
getting an inexpensive audio program
I am also on order, the last I heard he is out of stock and is getting
a shipment in this weekend. While waiting for my order I came up with
Gamut. I have never bought from him so I cannot say much. The strings
he makes are closer in resemblance to gut than Nylgut though.

O
I dunno. I tried to place a quite substantial order for strings back in
January. I got a response saying he'd get back with me "in a few days." Still
waiting. I've had much better luck dealing with Chris Henriksen.

I'm sure Curtis is still doing business. He's a professional musician and is
sometimes out of town, so that could be the reason for the delay.
Another source for strings is Boston Catlines - Olav Chris Henriksen - He
sells nylgut. His phone number is (617) 776-8688 - email: catli...@aol.com
Good
Have you tried the posted phone number yet? I've always dealt with his shop
via phone and subsequent check mailing.

Greetings,
Some advice please from those of you who record a lot.
I'm taking the plunge to record my first piece, from Allans `Castles in
the Sky' CD, Dermott O'doud to be precise - and no it's not for public
consumption before you start terrorising me with copyright blah, blah
Does anyone know if Curtis Daily is still doing the AquilaUSA business,
selling nylgut lute strings? The web page looks abit old, and I get no
response to the posted email there. I sent a check with an order some
time ago and I'd hate to find out I needed to cancel the check. Any
Martin,
They are not the same book. Actually, I have the book you mention,
excellent articles btw...

No, it is _not_ a normal price. Amazon, in the USA sells it for

It is a decimal place or two beyond my budget!
