Julian Bream was an early Renaissance hero of mine. I saw him perform on guitar
and lute in 1978 and it changed my life. I went right out and ordered my first
lute. He was an inspiration and will be missed. RIP

and Summer 2013, you can find an interesting article by Crawford Young
that examines the bassadanza in Pesaro Ms. and compares it with its
concordant dance in the Thibault Ms. Facsimiles of the original
