I bought my first lute from Kelischek 30 years ago. It was a decent, playable
entry-level instrument. I can't speak for what they're selling now, but it's
hard to imagine they're peddling junk.

Dear All
These appear to be the same low-price Zachary Taylor lutes being sold
on other websites. So the question is really whether anybody out there
has played one of these. Also, as they're available on various
websites, what is the best price?
Cheers,

A priority is to ensure that they will be ‘playable’ and suitable
for the performance of the repertoire composed for the instrument.
It always bothers me when someone puts quotes around an important term
like playable.
It shouldn't bother us, it is simply a symptom of what we trick
suitable for the performance of the repertoire composed for the
instrument.
Er... what does that mean? Pyramid strings?
Best to all from sunny Burgundy,
Martin

I could use a bottle of Sunny Burgundy right now. Suitable for
consumption, of course. Unlike anything from Pyramid- either the
'brewpub' here in Berkeley or those sitar strings anywhere.
Martin- Congrats on the move- don't get sunstroke in the vineyard. Wish
we were there!
