The new version of the docs need fltflt.sty. It is not part of emTeX.
I'll add a note in INSTALL.OS2. Perhaps it's advisable to add an entry
to README or INSTALL, if you cannot be sure that it is standard on
UNIX.
If feasible, I'll bundle it with the bin package for OS/2.

I tried to see how the latest LyX 1.0.3 will work on Linux/Alpha.
A system on which the experiment was conductucted is based on Red Hat
5.2 distribution with all erratas and other bug fixes; xforms library
is xforms-0.88-6 from Power Tools 5.2 set.
The first minor thing - spec
I found that I had several loose spaces before commas. I tried to use
find/replace to replace " ," with ",", but while it found them
correctly, it leaves the initial space, and places an additional space
*after* the comma (generally harmless, as it goes away), leaving the
offending space in
mathed's lexer has some really stupid hacks in it. Following TeX on what is a
macro makes the code *much* simpler and would eliminate even more if I could
rebuild math_hash.C (the CVS sources seem to lack to input to gperf). All the
change required is to put the first character after the \
