| Preferences. Both set ok, but when I restarted LyX, only the ui path
was remembered correctly; the bind path was truncated to C:/Program.

On the Wiki, you posted a test program for screen DPI detection and
asked if it worked for others. I'm assuming this is the right place to
answer. I ran it on my laptop, and it said 81 DPI (same thing LyX
1.3.6pre says). My display adapter is set for 96 DPI.
