Ahh, I had some vague memory we discussed it, but google did not help.
Now I see I raised exactly the same issue when cprotect was discussed.
Thanks,

Thanks to Jürgen's cprotect feature
Hi there,
when trying to insert greyed out note into figure caption I run into latex
compilation problems (debian TL 16).
Is it lyx macro definition problem or am I not supposed to do that?

You have to test for i>0 somewhere, don't you?

Looks good. Some hardcoding, but we can't do without unfortunately.

The attached patch works perfectly for me.

Hi,
On the LyX canvas, figures are now numbered. But each figure gets the number
one, "Figure 1". For some reason the figure numbers are not incremented.
However, the figures are correctly numbered in "Navigate->Figure".

None, sorry, it did not occurr to me that centered would not mean
centered on paper. I did not check.

Seems that he will have to use caption.sty to control this. May be Lyx could
support it, but it isn´t too hard to do with some 666 magic.

Yes, this outputs useless (and perhaps nasty with some classes) latex
commands. We would have to find a better fix.

Stdlayouts.inc restricts captions to center. Is there a reason for this.
It looks pretty ugly with long winded captions. It seems to work if I
change stdlayouts.inc to allow block captions.

I've created a patch that adds Ascii() methods to the inset classes
(and also few minor fixes).

Guys
Just downloaded the latest version of 1.1.5cvs RPM as of 2:00pm GMT. It fixed
my cut and paste problem but now I can't run latex when I have equations in the
figure captions. I looks like it's dropping the $ from around the equations.
