Ubuntu user upgrading from 2.0.3 to 2.1.3 could not export because of home folder

A user upgraded to Ubuntu 15.04 and LyX would not export (greyed out). Removing the LyX user directory solved the problem. Reconfigure did not solve the problem. The user posted the LyX user directory here:

Exporting from command line now crashes (SIGSEGV) for many docs

Ctests are failing for many documents, such as Math.lyx Exporting Math.lyx from the command line gives me a SIGSEGV (I can export fine from GUI though). See the backtrace at the bottom of this email. A 'git bisect run' narrowed the issue down to 4 commits (I could not compile in between them so

It is currently bound to buffer-begin-select. But this LFUN is also bound to C-S-Home. I would like to implement buffer-move-next, which will move the tab up one spot (and similar for C-S-PageDown. This feature and keybinding would be consistent with tab behavior in Chromium, Firefox, and

French Math manual fails to export with LuaTeX and system fonts

To reproduce, open fr/Math.lyx, click "Use non-TeX fonts", and choose e.g. "FreeSans" for the three fonts. Then view as PDF (LuaTeX). Why is this a problem? Well it's not a big issue since I doubt a user would do this, but it adds another large intense document to our tests for this format.

Suppose there is an error during LaTeX compilation, and then the user immediate previews again. We should show the same error again. This doesn't happen since adding a "show output anyway" button at 09700d5b. The reason for this is that before, we used to remove output files on error. This way,
