- user 2 newly created without problems
- user 1 with tons of configuration files can:
Start lyx create a new file, but if he wants to type something lyx
crashes with the following error message.

I saw a LyX 1.6.7 crash during spellchecking (on a Debian sqeeze system). I

unstable package

I started up Debian's lyx 1.6.7 today. The menus didn't work. Neither
did they work for my self-compiled lyxes. Very strange. The main menu
was there, but it was impossible to pull anything down!
