Hi, I've just installed tkbibtex which I've read can
communicate with LyX directly through pipes. However I
can't get the pipes to work. I've alread added the line
\serverpipe "/home/qam/.lyxpipe
to my ~/.lyxrc file but when I run LyX neither the
.lyxpipe.in nor the .lyxpipe.out pipes

I'm preparing one book with LyX and would like to have glossary besides
regular index.
I have LateX Companion but it is not 100% clear to me how to achieve it.
Does anyone has some advice in getting glossary with LyX?
How about glossary environment?

I use book style for producing one book.
I have parts chapters in the book, using two side option, but LyX does
not put empty pages to have beginnings of chapter on odd pages.
What's wrong?
Also, in TOC there are no dotted lines (chapter title to page number)
although (as I understand) it is
I want to insert some BibTeX-Entries in my bibliography, which I never
reference from the text. How can this be done?
you can try to put before your bibtex references (in lyx) this latex
command \nocite{*}
I don't know if it works...

Is it possible to have page numbers printed in the upper right hand
corner instead of at the bottom?
Also is it possible to have a footnote skip the numbering (i.e. have the
13 th footnote be labled with
an asterik and the 14th footnote to resume the count at 13)?
