I'm a quite new user of lyx and have still some very basic problems. For
instance: How can I define left alignment as a standard for a whole text?
Using the "Layout/Paragraph/Alignment Left" feature for every paragraph is
inconvenient and has the side effect that hyphenation is turned off.
