Hi Angus, I have been doing some checking on my machines. I notice that there is no "convert" program associated with the W98 system, and that there is a "convert.exe" in c:\cygwin\usr\local\bin and "convert" is a W2K system executable. Could this be the source of the problem? Regards Goffredo

Here : http://movementarian.org/latex-xft-fonts-0.1.tar.gz is a new set of fonts (200k !), mostly converted by Dan Armak. wasy10 was converted by Andrew Abyzov. They should be safely under the latex license. I made several fixes over and above that. It should work (try the attached). Please
