Hi,
I'm a new Lyx user (one month of experience now).
Writing my thesis, I found a strange behaviour using the symbol (R)
(\textregistered in LaTex) as above written.
Every chapter of the thesis is a separate file, included as input in the
main file. Some chapters are longer and more complex than o

That works, but you get red and green boxes around the things that are
linked... is it possible to turn those off and have the hyperrefs in
"stealth" mode?
I don't know what stealth mode is.
But you may use this in your preamble to get a PDF with black links and
no borders:
\usepackage{ifpdf}
Hi,
I have solved the problem by deleting C:\Docs and Setting\Application
Data\Lyx15, and letting it generate a set set of default files.
And view>toolbars has also come back.

But no mention of toolbars.

List,
In LyX 1.5.2, how can I customize the File->New From Template dialog to
either:
1) add "Look In" locations; or
2) change the default directory from /usr/share/lyx/templates to
$HOME/.lyx/templates?
Thanks,

They're working -- they just don't do what you think they do. I'm
pretty sure LaTeX interprets top alignment as the baselines of t

I tried that and yes I did see quite a few ERT. When I try to view it either
as a dvi or pdf there are sections missing in comparison to the dvi file
supplied.
The tex file uses a latex style, spconf.sty, which in turn uses the article
class and the spconf package. Although the linking is clear, I

I prefer the LyX Monster icon, too. It makes for nice conversations
with colleagues who get a glimpse of my dock. I also think it hits the
right proportion of the size of the letters to the size of the icon.

I am not sure it still neded, but if you try MikTeX 2.7 in the middle

There was an announcement on MikTeX web page.
