I have installed lyx with the following installer
LyX-163-4-19-AltInstaller-Complete
and have elyxer 0.27. i couldn't find 0.29 version which was mentioned in one
of the previous email.
It was just a momentary lapse, the last release is 0.27, see

spellcheking with Lyx (1.6.3). I followed these instructions:
