I just noticed "latex --version" may be more detailed:
pdfTeX 3.14159265-2.6-1.40.20 (TeX Live 2019/Debian)
kpathsea version 6.3.1

Hello everyone; I'm using Debian and LyX 2.3.3.
Some time ago I made some presentations with Beamer and my CV with modercv
class in LyX. LyX used to work just fine with those classes (although I
think those were working with LyX 2.3.2), but suddenly, things stopped
working. According to log file,
I found out I can start the action I want with "lyx -x reconfigure";
however, GUI is triggered at the end.
Already tried "lyx -batch -x reconfigure" but lyx ask for an input file,
which I consider should not happen; I’m considering a bug report.

Hello everyone,
I was wondering if there's a way to execute Tools>Reconfigure without GUI
(i.e. from the terminal) in Linux.
Thanks in advance,

I also like to use LyX for taking notes, especially when those notes will
involve mathematical formulas and notation but also because of all the
keyboard shortcuts for sections and the like. It is also good for making
references in a straightforward manner.
However, I don't really think LyX
eds, I think
this would be a good feature to have in order to be more productive: we
could then toggle between the customization lines of our templates and
documents for different reasons, be them debugging or changes in document
appearance.

That's just what I wanted to have!
Again, thank you. I confirm that this is working for me too, in case
someone is looking for this to work.

Hello everyone,
I want to be able to produce documents with furigana scripture (kana over
kanji in japanese writings) and I've found this links describing how to do
it in plain LaTeX
