I found apa.layout in the standard install lyx 1.2
Is it possible to take this layout file and compile it in some way to
make a documentclass apa?
I don't see any cooresponding .cls or .sty files. That is apa.sty od apa.cls

I'm running lyx 1.2. on Mandrake 9.0 gnome desktop
Where should the above code be placed to recompile, and have it end up
as a usable document class?

I would like to add an apa style running head

I'm using lyx 1.2. I've typed a paper and now I must add a running
haead to the title page.
I typed the document using the class{report}. The rev of lyx I have has
no APA style or class.
I've been able to simulate the running head using the ERT command
