I solved my question by removing all Index-related files such as .idx .ilg or .ind fom the /tmp/lyx_tmpdir.T15697/lyx_tmpbuf and saved the document under a new name. I also put a macro in the preamble of the document %%macro for index nom \newcommand{\IndexDef}[1]{\textit{#1}} and in the
