I'm trying to use latest latex on WinXP but there is something wrong
with my tex. Please give me advice which TeX distribution should I download.
Please note that I'm new here, so it would be nice if you could give me
a step-by-step instruction.

The packages a4 and a4wide should not be used anymore. Try to set the margins
manually instead.
