Does this mean you export the document from LyX to a .tex file, and that
compiles? Or do you mean that you created a test file outside LyX (in TeXWorks)
and that file compiled?

Without access to the layout file, it's hard to say what caused this. Two
questions: (1) what name did you give to the layout file; and (2) what is the
second line of the layout file (should contain \DeclareLaTeXClass)?

Your test file compiled correctly for me every time I tried (multiple tries within one LyX session, multiple LyX sessions, exported to .tex and compiled outside LyX). Paul

Readers, Using version 200 but unable to change the heading text 'abstract'. Any help please?
Newlines or vertical spaces in table cells
Hi there, Apologies if there is some documentation for this - I couldn't find it. Is there some way to force a newline or vertical space within a table cell's contents? At the moment many of my larger tables exceed a page width and I would prefer to (automatically, if posible - otherwise manually) enforce line breaks within wider table cells. Thanks, Walter
