Hey all, I've been writing my chemistry thesis in lyx on aqua. I have now noticed a problem with line breaks. Some of the long chemical names such as bisdichloro(triphenylphosphine)nickel(II) completely screw up the generation of line breaks. like the word runs off the edge of the page. Is

Sorry for the late reply... I finally found a solution, namely \setlength\parskip{0pt} in the preamble thanks Giovanni Did you ever get a reply to this? If not, it would be good to export, re-import, save as a new LyX file, then compare the two LyX files to isolate what the difference is.

It works now. I had installed the lyx_aspell_dict_en.rar file in Ruurd's directory. It didn't have all the files you had mentioned. I reinstalled the dictionary using the exe file for English in the aspell's webpage and now it works. The file which used was Aspell-en-0.50-2-3.exe Thanks a lot
